WordPress is like a whole new planet for me. And hello, it’s me and I’m new. After six (nearing seven) years of blogging, I finally have my own domain name! I never imagined that a day like this would come. Ever since I became aware of .com, .net, etc. I have since longed to have one of my own. Back at Tumblr, I settled for the free .tk but somehow it stopped working for my blog and I decided to move to Blogger and found out that I totally can’t use a .tk so that’s some minus legit points for me but I stuck it out and continued with Blogger because I found it easier for me to navigate through. I’ve attempted to use WordPress twice. First before I moved to Blogger, second was last month. I was set on giving up on this platform altogether but an opportunity came up for me that required me to move here. Thus, this very cheesy first post.
I finally had the guts and means to have my own domain name and it just makes me so happy. I feel legit, you know. Even though I’m pretty sure that my only readers would be my family and a few of my friends. But still, I have a .com! I think this is the exact same feeling I got when I first started on Tumblr. I’m like I own this space, it’s mine. And it totally is! I hope you guys get to have some fun (I try, really) reading my posts as much as I have fun writing them. It’s mostly going to be about how frustrated I am with the world, the struggle of transitioning to med school (I’m going to be applying for the next school year!), travel — generally the life of a young aduIttrying to make it through this big bad world.
Hi, I’m twenty and lost, and I’m going to be a future somebody. And I will also have a lot of pepperoni pizzas.
