One of my indulgences is scouring Pinterest for formal dresses. I’ve always liked thinking of occasions where I can wear a long gown, and dress up like the woman that I am deep inside. Of course I’d rather be in jeans and sneakers but there’s something about gowns that just awakens the 7-year old in me. I look forward to events that requires me to wear formal clothes no matter how much of a hassle it might be. One such event was for my graduation ball in college. I spent days looking for the perfect dress online and I’ve never been happier to be living in an era where it’s easy to look for just about anything, and I’m happy to say that I found the perfect grad ball gown.
I thought it would take me years again before I could get to dress up like that again but my parents are going to celebrate their 30th anniversary next year and being the girl scout that I am, I always like to prepare for it beforehand. You read that right, I am preparing for it a year in advance. It never hurt to be early, right? 😀 I was browsing through different websites and I’m so glad I came across Aisle Style. They’re an online retailer of Prom Dresses, Wedding Dresses, Homecoming Dresses, and dresses for special occasions. Basically a one-stop-shop for all your dressing up needs!
Naturally, since I’m going to need a dress for my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary (which, to most, means they’re going to renew their wedding vows), I would head on to look at Bridesmaid Dresses 2017 or on the Dresses for Weddings category but I like keeping my options open so I made sure to explore every category just to widen my choices. I also looked at Aisle Style’s 2017 prom dresses because they usually have the style that I’m looking for. There are a lot of beautiful designs and I had such a difficult time choosing only three. Nevertheless, here are my picks:
(L-R: Vintage Bateau Neck Illusion Cap Sleeved Lace Blush Tulle Bridesmaid Dress; Sheath Jewel Sleeveless Appliques Beading Lace Floor-length Long Prom Dress; Chic Off the Shoulder Pleated Sheath Long Chiffon Prom Dress)
I like how easy it is to browse around the site. Every category already has a subcategory which makes it easier for me to narrow down my searches because I’m very particular with the designs I want, and it can be very frustrating at times because I’m quite an impatient person when it comes to looking for something. 😛 Take for example their Prom Dresses, it has a subcategory of the kind of length that you want (e.g. Short prom dresses, long prom dresses, or high-low prom dresses) and the kind of color/s that you prefer (e.g. Red prom dresses, blue prom dresses, champagne prom dresses, and so much more).
I’ve found my dress haven. What about you? 🙂
