GRATITUDE LIST

MARCH GRATITUDE LIST

March 31, 2017

I really think the universe is trying its best to make it up for me because this month has been better than the last. This month was so eventful that it just flew by! I didn’t realize that it was already about to end that I almost forgot to write this entry!

We (my cousin and I) have finally finalized our travel plans for Japan next month! We’ve got our visa [Find out how I got mine while on a gap year: Applying for a Japan Visa while on a Gap Year], our tickets booked, and our itinerary planned. It was such a struggle to get this trip together because it costs a lot but I’m really excited to see the Land of the Rising Sun! I really wanted to explore Nagoya, Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. It was so surreal that I’m going because I weren’t really planning on flying out this year.

submitted my entry for KKDay PH’s contest to win a trip to Taiwan. I did a collage which was my best shot at creativity, and I hope I get to win! Not only will I get to go to Taiwan (if ever) but I would also get to travel with one of my favorite bloggers — Camie! [Check my entry out on my Instagram: pepperonipia] I also submitted an entry for YugaTech and Sony Philippines’ blog contest where I could win a Sony A5000. I’ve been wanting to own one ever since most people recommended it to me. I really, really hope I win! [Read my entry: The Ultimate Travel and Blogging Camera: Sony A5000]

More blog collaborations. I’ve gotten a lot more collaborations with different brands this month and it just really makes me happy. For me, it means that my blog is getting recognized for being reliable and worthy enough to have their site/product advertised here. I always try my best to give a lot of effort to the brands I work with and it warms my heart to read their e-mail saying I did a good job. There’s one collaboration that I’m particularly excited about and I cannot wait to publish my post about it. <3

I’ve also published more blog posts this month compared to the last. Maybe because I’m finally getting my groove back. Huge, huge thanks to everyone who always leaves a comment! It makes me want to keep writing. 🙂 I also wrote a blog post: Earning from Your Blog, and I’m glad it has helped you guys. Of course my main goal was to at least impart some tips on how one can monetize a blog but personally, it’s not my end goal. It just takes the fun out of blogging if it were. Also, to those who asked (or are planning to ask), when I do reach out to brands, it’s because I believe in their product and/or have actually used the product/service and I always include in my e-mail how we (the brand and I) can both benefit from the collaboration. It’s always a two-way street. 🙂

For my brother’s birthday, we finally took Piper home! He’s the cutest little puppy and he’s just so full of life. Unlike his father (Chewbacca), he likes playing with people and didn’t hide under the couch/table/chairs (like Chewy used to do when he was still young). Although, Piper is very noisy. He barks when Chewy won’t play with him, and he barks when he wakes up in the middle of the night just to scratch. I don’t get as much sleep because of him but whenever I’d see his chubby puppy body, I forget how stressful it is to take care of him. My Instagram stories is now 95% about Piper and Chewy. (Update from last month’s gratitude list: my parents did not let me name him Obi-wan, Han Solo, or Luke)

March has been really good to me and I could not be more thankful. How was your month? 🙂

That’s so great! I love Camie, too, and I wish I could join the KKDay contest. But I do hope you win! The best of luck to you and I hope more great things will come your way x

I feel so bad for not being able to send my entry on KKDay. The past few weeks have been very busy because we were preparing for our parents’ wedding, and I had a day job, plus a calligraphy workshop on the side. I can’t seem to balance everything and I had no time to create the flatlay I initially planned out. 🙁 Anywaaay, goodluck. I hope your entry wins though!

So sorry to hear that, Da. 🙁 But oh wow, a calligraphy workshop! I’ve always wanted to attend one. 😀 Thank you, and I hope so too! <3

It’s Sakura season in here and I can’t wait for you to experience Nihon soon! There’s a lot of places you can try and explore especially in those places you’re going to visit. 🙂 Also, congratulations on your KKDAYP entry! I saw that your entry and I’m so excited to know who’s the lucky Traveller with Camie Juan–everyone loves Camie though. Hihi. Good luck! I only had one collaboration with Shopback last year and I’m still waiting for more 😉 I’m glad these brands reach out to you :p
