So I finally ventured out to vlogging. Last week, I tried to document my commute while I ran errands for med school and checked out thrift stores. I’m pretty pleased with the outcome but I’m sure I still have a whole lot to improve on. For starters, I still have to download a decent video editing software on my laptop. My internet had been so slow the night I was supposed to edit the clips so I just resorted to editing it on my phone using iMovies.
Just like the past month, April flew by fast. I didn’t realize that May is just around the corner until I looked at my calendar to check how long it has been since I last had my braces adjusted. I have big things to be thankful for this month. I don’t know what I did to receive everything on this gratitude list but I promise to make good use of them.
I really think the universe is trying its best to make it up for me because this month has been better than the last. This month was so eventful that it just flew by! I didn’t realize that it was already about to end that I almost forgot to write this entry!
Last year, I blogged about being torn regarding which camera to buy. Not only am I taking blogging much more seriously now, but I’m also in that phase where I want to preserve each memory beautifully and print out my best travel pictures. With that said, I need a camera that does the job perfectly for me without breaking the bank. As a student still depending on her parents for pretty much everything, I always have to be conscious about the quality of every huge purchase that I’m going to make. I finally narrowed my four choices down to one.
I’m going to start this off by saying that I am not, in any way, an expert. I’m not a well-known blogger, and I don’t make huge bucks from blogging. But I think I’ve been blogging long enough, and have collaborated with enough brands to somehow know what I’m talking about. It took me years before I first got contacted for a collaboration.
January was so good to me but February proved to be very challenging. It’s only the second month of this year but it has already tested how much I could bear. I didn’t see it coming, it came unto me like an avalanche wreaking havoc along the way. But I haven’t always been one to easily give up — I like to believe that I’m a strong person who can pretty much handle everything that’s being handed to her. So here I am, trying to still make the best out of everything.
